It's important for children to learn more about the world outside the borders of their city, their state, and even their country. Understanding world politics can help your children understand that there's more to life than what happens in the confines of their own borders and may help them broaden their own horizons and life experiences. However, it can be hard to help children understand politics in countries very different from their own.
In this blog, I'll share what I've learned in my experiences tutoring and working with children about teaching strategies that can help open your child's mind to politics and government in other countries, as well as in their own country. As a parent, you are your child's first teacher, and you really can broaden their minds with the right strategies.
